Information We Collect
We may collect personal information that you provide directly, including:
- Name and email address (via enquiry forms)
- Business name, website address, project details, optional budget and how you heard about us
- Campaign labels, the website pages used to reach the enquiry form and the referring website’s domain, where available
- Information you provide during consultations
How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide marketing services
- Send relevant marketing communications (with your consent)
- Improve our services and website
Data Protection
We take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
We save enquiries in our private enquiry desk and use our email provider to send an acknowledgement and notify Rob. We may follow up about the service you requested. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Understanding Enquiries
Links may include campaign labels so we can understand which activities lead to enquiries. We carry these labels between pages in the link address, without setting tracking cookies or using browser storage. When you submit a form, we save those labels, page paths and any available referring domain with your enquiry. We do not use these labels to identify visitors across websites or save the full referring address.
Optional Website Analytics
If you choose “Allow analytics”, we load Google Analytics to measure page visits, successful enquiry submissions and clicks on our phone and email links. Analytics is off until you choose to allow it. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or enquiry message to Google Analytics, and advertising features are disabled.
Analytics cookies can last up to 180 days. We remember your cookie choice in your browser for 180 days, including when you choose to keep analytics off. You can change it using “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page. Turning analytics off stops further measurement and removes our Google Analytics cookies.
Google processes this information on our behalf and may process it outside the UK. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Telephone Enquiries
Sophie, our AI receptionist, can take your details and pass your enquiry to Rob. Calls are transcribed to help us respond accurately; Sophie explains this when answering. We use Vapi and its service providers to operate the receptionist. Please avoid sharing payment details or sensitive personal information in your enquiry.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at rob@blacksheepmarketing.uk for any data-related requests.
